The Rose Bowl (wiki site) is the oldest and often considered the most prestigious of the Bowl Games. This year, the game is one of the College Football Playoff quarterfinals, featuring the #1 Oregon Ducks vs the #6 Ohio State Buckeyes (seeded 8th).
This years game will be played at Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California. The 2025 Rose Bowl is scheduled to take place on January 1st, 2025 with kick-off scheduled for 2pm PST.
The Oregon Ducks (13-0) are the Big Ten Champions, defeating Penn State 45-37 in the Big Ten title game to secure their perfect season. Oregon also defeated Ohio State 32-31 midway through the season. Ohio State lost that game to Oregon, and also lost their rivalry game to Michigan to close out their regular season. Ohio State bounced back with a 42-17 win over Tennessee in the College Football Playoff first round game, and they are still considered one of the best teams in college football.
College football is a religion in the United States, and even though it doesn’t have quite the same following north of the border, the college football bowl games are still popular games to bet on here in Canada. For that reason, I wanted to put together this simple 3 step guide for any Canadians interested in betting on the Rose Bowl.
