The 2024 Grey Cup takes place tomorrow evening (Sunday) at BC Place in Vancouver. The Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers were able to build leads early and hold onto them in the second half to win their respective Divisional Finals over the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders, respectively, to book their ticket to the 111th Grey Cup.
This years Grey Cup will kick-off on Sunday, November 17th at 6pm EST, and will be broadcast nationwide on CTV, TSN, and RDS.
The Blue Bombers are the Grey Cup favourites after finishing the season atop the West Division standings with an 11-7 record. The Blue Bombers have played in the last four Grey Cup’s, but they’ve lost the last two in close games to the Argos (2022) and Alouettes (last year). They will be looking to get over the finish line this year and cement this group as a modern day CFL dynasty.

As you can see the Blue Bombers are significant 9.5 point favourites heading into the Finals. The Bombers are considered a dynasty at this point. Their 11-7 record doesn’t look super impressive, but let’s not forget that they lost their first four games to start the season and were 2-6 after week 8. Since that point the Blue Bombers are 10-1 including their win over Saskatchewan last week.
As impressive as the Blue Bombers have been in their last 11 games, their one loss in that span was to the Argos. Toronto has won 5 of their last 6 games as well with the one loss coming by a point in overtime in Edmonton. Both teams are playing great football, so I fully expect the Grey Cup to be a competitive game.
