How To Bet On Super Bowl Props in Canada

By Football

I love betting Super Bowl props. The sheer number of props available at betting sites, and how deep they dive into the statistics of both the game and the broadcast is incredible. Not only does prop betting make the Super Bowl much more interesting by giving you a stake in small aspects of the game, but there are so many props that you can often find some great value and turn a solid profit with prop bets on the big game.

On this page I will recommend our top rated betting site for betting on Super Bowl props, look at the odds for some of their popular prop bets and provide a simple 3 step walk through you can follow to sign up and place some prop bets before Super Bowl Sunday.

SportsInteraction.com is our top rated betting site for Canadians, and this includes those of you looking to bet on Super Bowl 59 props. SIA is entirely focused on the Canadian market and this shines through in their easy to use betting platform, deposit/withdrawal options catering to Canadians, and terrific customer service.

Let’s take a look at the odds for some of the popular Super Bowl 59 prop bets at Sports Interaction. If you select ‘Football’ and then ‘NFL’ on the SportsInteraction.com website you will then be able to navigate to the Super Bowl prop betting markets. You can select ‘Specials’ to see the more novelty props or select the game followed by ‘Players’, ‘Scoring Props’ or ‘Game Props’ to see the prop betting markets related to the game. The odds below were taken on February 8th – the day before the Super Bowl.

National Anthem Props

One of the popular bets you can make in the ‘NFL – Specials’ section is about the length of the National Anthem. This is really the first big prop you can bet on during the game. Here are the odds for the anthem length prop at SIA:

The over/under on the anthem is always a hot prop bet. This year the over/under is set at 2 minutes and 0.5 seconds. Jon Batiste is singing the anthem this year. Two years ago Chris Stapleton sang the National Anthem in 2 minutes and 1 second, and a lot of similar style singers have come in close to the 2 minute mark, so I think this total is pretty accurate. There is a video of Jon Batiste from 2017 singing the anthem in closer to a minute and a half, which I believe is why the under has become favoured.

Halftime Show Props

The Half-Time Show props can also be found in the ‘NFL – Specials’ section at SportsInteraction.com:

Kendrick Lamar is headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Whether or not he will sing Grammy winning Record of the Year ‘Not Like Us’ is a big topic heading into the Super Bowl. The number of songs, what the artist is wearing, and who else shows up as a special guest are all typical halftime show prop bets.

Player Props

Now let’s look at some of the player props. Sports Interaction has over/under totals for receptions, receiving yards, rushing attempts, rushing yards, longest rush, tackles, and more for almost every player. Let’s look at the Saquan Barkley, Patrick Mahomes, and Kareem Hunt rushing yards over/unders as an example:

Barkley has been having a remarkable season. He put up 119, 205, and 118 rushing yards in the Eagles three playoff games en route to the Super Bowl. If he can keep this trend going then the over bet would be the play here, and if Barkley gets going for 112+ yards you have to think the Eagles have a good shot to win the game.

Let’s look at one more from the player props section. Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts passing yards:

Mahomes has a passing yard total set at 252.5 yards, while Hurts has his passing yards total set at 214.5 yards. The fact Barkley is expected to get 100+ rushing yards means Hurts isn’t expected to have to throw for as many yards as Mahomes. That said, if the Eagles get behind we could see Hurts having to air it out a bit more this game.

Game Props

Finally, the Super Bowl Game Props section includes all of the team props, such as first team to score, first scoring play, first team to use a coaches challenge, first team to punt, and much more.

Head over to SportsInteraction.com, select ‘Football’ and select ‘NFL’ from the Top Events section. Then select ‘Specials’ for the novelty props or select the Chiefs vs Eagles game to see the full list of props betting markets related to the gameplay.
