**Update July 4th** Canada has advanced to the knockout round of the tournament. Canada was able to defeat Peru and draw Chile in Group A to finish second behind Argentina and advance to the quarterfinals. Canada will now face Group B winner, Venezuela, in their first knockout stage match as they look to make a deep run in this tournament.
