The 2024 World Series is set to be a battle between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. The World Series will begin on October 25th with the Yankees and Dodgers earning a few days rest after clinching their respective League Championship Series’ on October 19th (Yankees) and October 20th (Dodgers), respectively.
The Yankees defeated the Kansas City Royals 3 games to 1 in the ALDS, and followed up that series win by only dropping a single game against the Guardians as well, winning the ALCS 4-1 to book their spot in the World Series for the first time since 2009.
