A Draw No Bet wager is a bet on a team to win a game, but where your wager is returned if the game ends in a draw. The bet type is generally found for games or matches where a draw is a potential outcome.
With a Draw No Bet wager you would win if the team/athlete you are betting on wins the match and the bet would push (be refunded) if the match ended in a draw. You would only lose the bet if your team/athlete lost the match.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is the favourite to win the game. A $100 Draw No Bet wager on Vancouver would payout $157 if they won the match. A $100 Draw No Bet wager on Montreal would payout $225 if they pulled off the upset. If the match ends in a draw then all Draw No Bet wagers would “push” and the wager would be refunded.

When placing a Draw No Bet wager, you should always compare the odds with the 3-way betting line to make sure it’s advantageous to bet the Draw No Bet odds rather than splitting your wager between two single 3-way wagers.
Calculating and Comparing Draw No Bet Odds
Continuing with the above example let’s look at how you can calculate whether you’ll get a higher return placing a Draw No Bet wager vs two Match Result wagers.
We will use Vancouver Whitecaps FC for this example. Vancouver has Draw No Bet odds of 1.57, which means a $100 wager would payout $157 if Vancouver wins and you would receive the $100 wager back if the match ends in a Draw.
First you should calculate how much you would have to wager at the Draw odds (3.35) to return your $100 wager. A bet of $29.85 at odds of 3.35 would payout $100. This leaves you with $70.15 to bet on Vancouver Whitecaps FC to win match.
A $70.15 wager at odds of 2.16 pays out $151.52. The $151.52 payout is less than the $157 payout you would receive from a Vancouver FC win if you bet the Vancouver Draw No Bet odds. Therefore, in this instance it’s advantageous to bet the Vancouver Draw No Bet odds of 1.57 rather than splitting your wager between the Vancouver and Draw 1×2 betting lines.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the calculation example again:
$100 on Vancouver Draw No Bet @ 1.57 – Pays $157 if Vancouver wins or Pays $100 if Draw (wager returned)
$29.85 on Draw @ 3.35 – Pays $100 if Draw.
$70.15 on Vancouver to win @ 2.16 – Pays $151.52 if Vancouver wins
You should perform a quick and simple calculation like this whenever you’re considering placing a Draw No Bet wager. In this example it made sense to place the Draw No Bet wager, but other times it might make more sense to split your wager between the two outcomes using the 1×2 betting lines.
